We attended FBC (Factory network Business Conference) in Shanghai again this year. FBC is a Business & Interactive Event Presented by FNA, where Chinese and Japanese companies exchange various information through face-to-face interactions, helping with the sourcing of local Asian manufacturers, the market expansion of company products, as well as with various management challenges.

This year's FBC was co-hosted by FNA and a few major Japanese banks, as well as by the local government. The FBC event had 530 booths with 493 companies in participation. In total, 7,300 people from 4,500 different companies attended this year's conference.

Similar to previous years, on the first day we exchanged information with various companies who were also participating in the event as an exhibitor. On the second day, we set up a meeting space to have discussions with visitors.

At the ITO Corporation booth, we demonstrated the Yaskawa Σ-7 Servomotors and introduced robot systems with a video presentation, resulting in a large turnout.

We ultimately held meetings with three companies on the second day, all who were seeking a new business partner.

Through these meetings, we received a lot of useful information from Chinese buyers. We discovered that Chinese buyers are mainly major manufacturing companies and that they are considering the introduction of automated equipment from Japanese companies in the future, reconfirming our conviction that there will be a strong demand for factory automation in the future.
