1946 January	Started business as a private firm
1953 October	Established ITO Corporation (successor to the former private firm) Capital: ¥500,000.

～1960s

1958 March	Opened Nagoya Local Office (now, Nagoya Branch Office) Increased capital to ¥1,000,000.
1960 March	Increased capital to ￥3,000,000.
1961 March	Opened Osaka Local Office (now, Osaka Branch Office)
1962 March	Increased capital to ￥9,000,000.
1966 October	Moved Head Office to Yamagata Ginko Bldg.
1966 October	Opened Hiroshima Local Office (now, Hiroshima Sales Office)
1968 October	Increased capital to ￥20,000,000.

1970s

1973 October	Increased capital to ￥30,000,000.
1979 July	Opened Kanazawa Local Office (now, Kanazawa Sales Office)

1980s

1981 October	Opened Nanshin Local Office (formerly Nanshin Sales Office)
1983 October	Increased capital to ￥50,000,000.
1986 November	Established Nissho Sangyo co., ltd. (an affiliated company)
1987 June	Moved General Affairs Department to Ginza, Chuo-ku

1990s

1990 January	Opened Tokyo Branch Office (in Saitama City)
1990 February	Increased capital to ￥70,000,000.
1994 January	Opened Kyushu Office (now, Kyushu Sales Office)

2003 June	Consolidated Tokyo Branch Office into the Head Office
2005 January	Established Shanghai Representative Office
2006 January	Established Marketing Division
2006 April	Established ITOH SHOKAI (SHANGHAI) CO., LTD
