On September 3rd & 4th, 2014, our locally-incorporated subsidiary company ITO Corporation (SHANGHAI) exhibited at "FBC Shanghai 2014" held at Shanghai Mart.

This was the 17th Factorynetwork Business Conference, held by the organization Factory Network Asia (FNA), which works to create partnerships between manufacturers in Japan and China. It was sponsored by 40 organizations including the leading banks and municipal organizations from various districts throughout Japan. On the presentation side, 550 companies exhibited 593 booths. For participants, 8,000 attendees representing 5,300 companies visited the conference.

The first day involved business meetings with pre-matched exhibiting companies, and business talks between exhibitors and the general public were held on the second day. We are thankful to the many attendees who visited our booth and eagerly viewed our exhibit.

The majority of the general public attendees were from local Chinese companies, and we still felt a high degree of attention towards Japanese businesses. In addition, we received many comments from attendees that "products from Japanese companies are reliable in quality and are the most advanced in terms of technology." During a time when one often hears about the risks of business in China, we were able to reaffirm that a business chance still exists for Japanese-affiliated companies.

ITO Corporation and our Shanghai subsidiary are committed to providing a supporting role to companies manufacturing overseas, and we will continue to work our hardest as a bridge between local Asian businesses and the corporations looking to work with them.
